Arrigo Barnabé

Born in Paraná, Arrigo studied composition at Universidade de São Paulo, where he became one of the leaders of the vanguard movement in the city, basing his work upon experimentalism and classical music. His debut album, the independent "Clara Crocodilo", was released in 1980. The follow-up, "Tubarões Voadores", was critically acclaimed. Arrigo has written music for plays and movies, being awarded for those. His music is eclectic, mixing in the vanguard of contemporary classical music with pop and hard rock.
