Diana Pequeno

Born in Salvador, she worked on the theater and with music in the countryside of Bahia, settling in São Paulo in 1978, when she launched her career. Her debut album, "Diana Pequeno", featured a successful version of Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind". Her eclectic repertoire includes baião, xote, Latin and pop music. She put out other albums in the early 1980s, but she didn't return to the top charts.
