Eduardo Dusek nascimento 01/01/1958

Started out as a pianist at age 15. Later on, he began writing music and started a band. By 1978, Dusek had already written songs that were recorded by important MPB artists, such as As Frenéticas ("Vesúvio"), Ney Matogrosso ("Seu Tipo") and Maria Alcina ("Folia no Matagal"). His songs tend to pursue humorous insights. He made his debut LP, "Olhar Brasileiro", in 1980, and became successful in 1982, with the album "Cantando no Banheiro", which featured songs like "Barrados no Baile" (written with Luis Carlos Góes), "Cabelos Negros" (with Luis Antonio de Cássio) and "Rock da Cachorra" (Leo Jaime). The follow-up album, "Brega-chique", came in 1982. In 1986, he released "Dusek na Sua", which featured the hit "Aventura". He was kept apart from the media through the 90s, and has recently made a comeback, producing a songbook on Carmen Miranda.
