Kid Abelha
Pop-rock group from Rio de Janeiro, they started out as Kid Abelha & Os Abóboras Selvagens in 1981. The band became visible in 1982, when the demo tape with the song "Distração" was aired on Rádio Fluminense (rock radio station). The debut album, "Seu Espião", was released in 1984. With changes in the line-up, the band shortened the name to Kid Abelha. Paula Toller, George Israel and Bruno Fortunato are the original members left. Key tracks: "Como Eu Quero", "Pintura Íntima", "Amanhã É 23", "Lágrimas e Chuva" and "Tomate".
