Kiko Zambianchi
14/10/1960
Born in the countryside of São Paulo, he took up the guitar in his teens. Kiko moved to the capital at age 21 and recorded the LP "Choque" in 1985 on EMI, enjoying three hits: the title track, "Rolam as Pedras" and "Chove". The follow-up, "Quadro Vivo", was released in 1986. The track "Alguém" went national. Another big hit was "Eu Te Amo Você", recorded by Marina Lima. After the album "Kiko Zambianchi" (1987), he put out "Era das Flores" (1989), but these discs were not very successful. In 1990, he made a version of the Beatles' "Hey Jude", which launched him right back into the charts. He disappeared for a while and released "KZ" in 1997. In 2000, he performed with rock band Capital Inicial, touring with the group and rehearsing a successful comeback.
