Lô Borges

Member of the generation of composers from Minas Gerais who were important in the 70s and 80s, he debuted at age 19, participating in the album "Clube da Esquina" (1971) as a singer and songwriter (O Trem Azul", "Tudo Que Você Podia Ser", "Nuvem Cigana") and "Clube da Esquina 2 (1978), with the songs "Ruas da Cidade" and "Pão e Água". In 1973, his debut solo, "Lô Borges", came out. The third album, "Via Láctea" (1979) is regarded as his most important piece. His songs have been recorded by important artists like Gal costa and Skank, and keeps on touring.
