Marcos Ariel
Pianist, keyboardist, arranger and songwriter, he fuses jazz, samba, choro and waltz. His debut album, "Bambu" (1981), was awarded in 1983 and released in other countries. By the late '80s, when his album "Terra de Índio" became successful in the USA, Ariel spent more time taking care of his international career. Marcos signed up to American label Nova Records in 1990, releasing the albums "Rhapsody in Rio" and "Hand Dance". In 1999, he recorded "My Only Passion" on American label PRC. Marcos runs his own label, Humaitá Music, in Rio de Janeiro.
