Pato Fu
Lined-up in 1992 in Belo Horizonte (capital of Minas Gerais), the rock-pop band was once compared to the Mutantes (because they were a trio, with a woman - Fernanda Takai - and two men - John and Ricardo Koctus; drummer Xande joined them in 1995) and became one of the best things in the 90s. The debut album, "Rotomusic de Liquidificapum" (1993) did not make them known nationally. That would only happen in 1995, with the album "Gol de Quem?". The disc featured their first hit, "Sobre o Tempo", allowing their music to be played on the radio and TV, and the band toured a lot around the country. Following "Tem Mas Acabou" (1996), "Televisão de Cachorro" (1998) was also successful, including the hits "Antes que Seja Tarde", "Eu Sei" (Legião Urbana) and "Canção pra Você Viver Mais". Pato Fu released "Isopor" in 1999.
