Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum
The quartet made its debut in 1995, in a tribute concert to Tom Jobim in New York. Three of its members (Jaques and Paula Morelenbaum and Paulo Jobim, Tom Jobim's son) were former members of Tom Jobim's Banda Nova. Tom Jobim's grandson, Daniel Jobim, completed the quartet. The group's repertoire is comprised of Tom Jobim's work. In 1997 and 1998, the group toured Europe, promoting Jobim's work abroad. In 1999, the quartet recorded its first album, "Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum", which includes Jobim's classics like "Água de Beber", "Corcovado" and "Águas de Março". After releasing the record, the group extensively toured Brazil and Portugal.
