Sideral

Born in the town of Alfenas, in the countryside of Minas Gerais state, the singer, songwriter and guitarist settled in the capital, Belo Horizonte, where he launched his career performing in balls and nightclubs. He played with bands like Contatos Imediatos, Capitão Gancho and Omeriah until eventually choosing to go solo. The debut album, "1", came out in 1999 on Universal, and most of the tracks were written by Sideral. His greatest hit as a songwriter, though, was recorded by the band Jota Quest: "Fácil" became a big radio hit. In 2001, he released the follow-up, "Na Paz", whose first single is "Sai Fora, Barbie".
