A MÚSICA BRASILEIRA DESTE SÉCULO POR SEUS AUTORES E INTÉRPRETES - DICK FARNEY
Dick Farney (2001)
Crítica
Cotação:
If there was an MPB interpreter who was clearly influenced by American music and still managed to create Brazilian music from it, this person was Dick Farney. He was mad about jazz., and started out singing jazz standards and playing the piano. He eventually migrated to samba-tunes, sung in Portuguese, debuting with the masterpiece Copacabana. Smash hit. Dick remained faithful to the style until passing on in 1987.
