AD

Trama's electronica label Sambaloco is constantly revealing what Brazilian producers sketch in their home studios. The latest discovery is the duo AD, comprised of producers/musicians/film makers (Jarbas) Agnelli and Waldo (Denuzzo). Their debut comes in a big beat mode, incorporating scattered Brazilian styles, and does not sound less inventive than foreign counterparts. Almost pop, with Denuzzo's guitars and basses and Agnelli's keyboards, AD does not skip from its influences (Front 242, Nine Inch Nails, etc). Key tracks: AD # 27 (Get Down), AD # 08 (Contact), AD # 22 (Rangido Ritmado), AD # 13 (Impulsos Incontroláveis), AD # 18 (What In Hell It Is They Want?), AD # 17 (A Noite Inteira).
