At the time, Baden Powell was touring nonstop around Europe and this is the first product of a millionaire contract signed up between him and CBS. Solitude features an eclectic repertoire and no big hits. In Introdução ao Poema dos Olhos da Amada (Vinicius de Moraes), Baden seems to be more classical than popular.
