Cotação:

Although this is an album aimed at the international market, it is worth noting that the album Perpetual Emotion is Flora Purim’s first record in six years. The album is based upon jazz, more than upon Brazilian music. During 11 themes, Flora, Airto Moreira and their band choose to "speak low", using discreet arrangements and leaving the fusion behind. Such approach brings up the sophistication and subtlety on tracks like My Ship (Ira Gershwin/Kurt Weill), the pretty Saudade and Crystal Silence. Her voice sounds remarkable on Fotografia, arranged by Oscar Castro Neves. Other key tracks: Airto's Jazz Dance, Escape and Search For Peace.
