MARIA CREUZA - 2 LPS EM 1 CD
Maria Creuza (2001)
Crítica
Cotação:
She appeared in the 1970s, through the hand of Vinicius de Moraes, with whom she sang Eu Sei que Vou Te Amar. Until the early 1980s, she made 9 LPs on RCA Victor. The first - Eu Disse Adeus (1973) - and the last - Poético (1982) - are now being reprinted on BMG's 2 LPs em 1 CD series. The repertoire is very good. The first album features samba-tunes (Canção da Volta, Nossos Momentos, A Noite do Meu Bem), dramatic ballads (Apelo, Chão de Estrelas and Eu Disse Adeus) and immortal sambas assembled in a medley (Obsessão, Não Me Diga Adeus, Pois É, A Flor e o Espinho).
Poético, on the other hand, is a tribute-album to Vinicius, who had helped her a lot and elected her the best interpreter of his music. The disc features 14 of his best songs, such as Tarde em Itapoã, Valsinha, Marcha da Quarta-Feira de Cinzas, Berimbau, Lamento, Samba de Orly, Garota de Ipanema, Chora Coração, Sem Mais Adeus. She passes on her message with discretion and softness.
