SÃO BONITAS AS CANÇÕES - As Parcerias Para Teatro de Edu Lobo e Chico Buarque

The songs really are beautiful, as the title properly indicates. Chico Barque and Edu Lobo haven't written that many songs together (about 33), yet they have produced a consistant number of classics. Pianist Sheila Zagury and singer Marianna Leporace got together to record this album whose title is a verse from the song Choro Bandido. Apart from Moto-Contínuo and Nego Maluco, all of the other songs were originally written for theater plays. Sheila and Marianna seem to be in gear along the 15 tracks whose highlights are: O Circo Místico, Abandono, Tango de Nancy and Verdadeira Embolada.
