The debut CD by the trio led by pianist and songwriter Roberto Barata intends to rescue Brazilian standards as well as to shed light upon new artists. Classics like Rio, Eu e a Brisa, Samba do Avião and A Felicidade appear along with Barata's compositions. Prolonging the trio tradition that emerged from the bossa nova movement (Tamba Trio, Zimbo Trio, Bossa 3, etc), Roberto (piano), his brother Rafael Barata (drums) and André Luz (bass) will not disappoint listeners.
