AMOR SEM LIMITE
Roberto Carlos (2000)
Crítica
Cotação:
Roberto Carlos has drowned into depression since his wife passed away in December of 1999, and now, the sadness has been turned into music. Instead of seeing a doctor or a psychoanalyst, the King, as he's better known, threw all of his anguish in this new disc. Admittedly autobiographic, Amor Sem Limite (Love With No Limits) is not that different from his latest releases, though, which shall satisfy exclusively his most fanatic admirers. The arrangements sound old and the lyrics sound very cliché. The best track is O Grude (Um do Outro), which vaguely resembles the times when RC's music ruled. It is ok for some of his fans to get involved with the King's broken heart, but it certainly lacks inspiration.
