SORTIMENTO
Zélia Duncan (2001)
Crítica
Cotação:
On Sortimento, Zélia Duncan seems one of the few new MPB artists to have something to say. Her previous album, Acesso, featured at least four excellent tracks (Sexo, Imorais, Código de Acesso and Quase Sem Querer), but the rest of it went for easy country/folk/pop. Now, Zélia includes funky beats, rap interventions and electronic pop in her mix. The most surprising track is a classic samba, Na Hora da Sede, where legendary Trio Mocotó accompanied her.
Key tracks: Por Que que Eu Não Pensei Nisso Antes? (written with Itamar Assumpção), Desconforto (Zélia and Rita Lee), Todos os Dias, Me Revelar and Beleza Fácil.
