Nelson Ned

Nelson was born in Ubá. In the 60s, he started performing and recording in Brazil and other Latin American countries where he is very popular, such as Mexico. His repertoire is comprised of romantic ballads, his shows attract huge crowds into arenas and theaters. As a songwriter, he has had songs recorded by Moacir Franco, Antônio Marcos, Agnaldo Timóteo and others. Ned won golden records in Brazil and performed in the USA. In the 90s, he started performing Gospel music. He published the book "O Pequeno Gigante da Canção", a reference to his vertical disadvantage.
