Day 3

“Sounds of Samba and Afro-Brazilian Percussion.”

Morning:

10:00 – 11:00: Master class on playing Afro-Brazilian percussion instruments.

Afternoon program:

11:30 – 12:30: Lecture on the cultural significance and history of samba.
13:00 – 14:00: A professional Afro-Brazilian percussion ensemble demonstrates unique rhythms.
14:30 – 15:30: Concert featuring traditional family groups performing samba.
16:00 – 17:30: The final performance is a mix of Afro-Brazilian percussion and modern electronics.

Evening program:

19:00 – 20:30: Traditional procession of samba and percussionists through the festival square.
21:00 – 22:30: Closing gala concert with the participation of all festival participants.

During all three days of the festival there will be recreation zones where visitors will be able to enjoy Brazilian cuisine, cultural exhibitions, handicraft workshops and many other activities related to Brazilian culture and music.
