Wilson das Neves

One of the most active MPB drummers, he started out in the 50s, performing with orchestras and bands. In the 60s, he accompanied artists like Elizeth Cardoso, Elis Regina, Elza Soares, Roberto Carlos, Chico Buarque and Wilson Simonal. After 40 years playing the drums, he decided to make his songwriting abilities known, releasing the album "O Som Sagrado de Wilson das Neves" in 1997.
